This all started off when I myself was looking for a new laptop, and I decided I wanted a laptop similar to the Macbook Air but at cheaper price. I think all the best laptops will eventually be more lightweight, as people expect more portability from their laptop. Lets face it the modern laptop is powerful enough for most web designers…. In my opinion the best lightweight laptop at the moment is the 13″ Dell 301z laptop. Using AMD low voltage processor for super long battery length, and with askinny footprint this tops my list of best lightweight laptops at the moment.
