Are outdated laptops / netbooks gathering dust in your garage? Wondering how to trash them without spending a dime? Here is a novel way of doing it. This video shows you how. It would help if you are a golf enthusiast.

You can put your golf clubs to good use as well as test your golfing skills. You can trash your netbook / laptop in one stroke! You can also get immense satisfaction by taking revenge if your old laptop has tested your patience while booting or crashed in the middle of an important presentation in the past! But whether it is a safe and environmentally friendly way of disposal of your cheap laptop is anybody’s guess! Finally a warning: you may need the help of your girl friend in clearing the debris!

To summarize, Nokia booklet 3G netbook has great looks, long battery life but the processor is somewhat slow.

Tired of watching the usual promos for netbooks? Here is a novel use of animation in promoting new Samsung N310 netbook.

A combination of holograms and clay animation (claymation for short) have been used in producing the video. Stop motion animation technique using clay figures is employed in producing the animation part of the film. Here is a brief description of the procedure used in claymation.

Clay figures are prepared first and moved slowly and the video is captured at a speed of 8 to 15 frames per second. Special software is used to edit the video to remove any hand or other extraneous objects. The software captures still frames of the video and background music and voice overs are added later. The dialogue is lip synced with the characters in the video also using special software. The animation film is then digitally embedded in real life background video to give a surreal effect. Animation software like Stop Motion Animator is available for free on the internet.

Animation professionals who have produced this video have done a fantastic job to make it appear realistic. It is really awesome and fun to watch. Go ahead and enjoy!

Is your work station dull and grey? Do you need to add some colour to your browsing moments? Does your work station need a make over? Then spray painting your laptop may just be the answer.

For those who watch this video, there are a couple of suggestions. One: Children and amateurs should not try this. Two: please do not replicate this unless you know your hardware inside out.

Having said this I must say Mark Entingh has done a remarkable job of showing us how to customize the look of a laptop and to make it unique in its appearance. There are three things that made his techno-colour project a success.

The first was that he knows his hardware thoroughly. He disassembled his laptop with great precision and ease. The second commendable thing was his systematic approach to the task. It is important to segregate the smaller components of the laptop. It makes the re-assembly easy and quick. The final aspect was that he had already visualized the final look of his machine before he started this project. The logo, design or the theme should be prepared in advance.

To be able to imagine the end product is the trait of a good artist. Mark Entingh moved the second part of his project to the garage where his creative skills were displayed. He took extra care to ensure that the screen was properly covered before he began the spray painting. He created the base colour and then used cut outs and different colours to get the effect he wanted.

After the laptop is put together, the final result is very impressive and however wacky the idea may seem, you cannot help but compliment the work of the tech artists. In the end even the tech savvy artist is left with a few bolts and screws that did not quite fit in but the great news was that the laptop functions impeccably and looks striking.

It must be highlighted that spraying your laptop does not change the performance but will definitely improve the performance of the user. The creative use of colour or preferred theme makes a workstation visually appealing and browser friendly.

Don’t believe me? Check the following video:

Children and babies laugh much more than adults. Research shows that children on an average laugh 400 times a day as compared to grown-ups who only laugh around 25 times. Getting a baby to spill into pearls of laughter is not an easy task. But as we see in this video, the laptop does this task at the click of a button. It is amazing to see the child immediately break into the most contagious laughter.

Even though both the television and the laptop are extremely entertaining, but unlike the television, the laptop is more interactive. If we as adults are enthusiastic about this technology, we cannot even begin to imagine the curiosity of a baby. The knowledge that he is instrumental in bringing about a reaction, sound or movement within the screen is very tickling for the child as seen in the video.

It is the remarkable combination of funny sounds and crazy actions on the laptop screen which does this. Studies have shown that things that do not belong to each other make babies laugh. Adults are burdened with the knowledge of the internet, software, hardware and all the technological know-how which actually takes away the fun element from the most mind boggling things. When a baby tries to link all of the fun with the tip of his finger, all he thinks is magic which translates into total exuberance.

The baby’s laughter shows awe and surprise in a playful way. In the world of babies, everything is big, gigantic and not reachable. But a laptop is small, maybe smaller than a lot of toys. The babies can relate to it in a lot of ways. Also in a world where adults can achieve so much all by themselves, being able to use the laptop is nothing less than awesome.

What is very inspiring to see is that in a world where children are exposed to amazing gadgets, they continue to find pleasure and happiness from the things we adults take for granted.

Check out the following video to have a crazy laugh:
