Lenovo has unveiled its thinnest Thinkpad yet in the new Thinkpad X1laptop. With a thickness of just 0.7”, it still can’t beat Macbook Air in thickness but it has sturdy build and weighs just 3.75lbs. Powered by Intel Sandy Bridge processor, the screen is 13.3″ Premium HD (1366×768) LED Backlit Display.
Lenova Ideapad U350 small laptop is stylishly designed with black shell. It has active protection system that protects the hard drive from shocks as well ambient light sensor that adjusts the screen brightness automatically. Powered by Intel Celeron M Processor ULV 743(1.3 GHz, 800 MHz FSB,1 MB L2 Cache), the lightweight laptop has main memory of 2 GB and hard disk capacity of 160 GB.
Weighing just 3.5 lbs, and with outer dimensions of 12.9 x 8.97 x 0.98 in, Lenova Ideapad U350 is highly portable. The display is 13.3” widescreen LCD, WXGA, 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and LED backlit with 16:9 aspect ratio. For external connectivity the small laptop is provided with Wi-fi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet along with 3 USB ports. There is no internal CD/DVD drive.
The ultra portable Thinkpad X61 laptop from the Lenova (formerly IBM) stable has 2 models to choose from: the X61 and the X61s. The latter has a slightly slower processor with corresponding longer battery life. Both are very compact and light weight.
The X61 has a rugged construction typical of Thinkpads with a strong body, solid keyboard, and sturdy hinges. The outer dimensions of the laptop are 10.6″ x 8.3″ x 1.4″ and a weight of just 3.1 lbs which puts it in the ultra compact range. The display is 12″ XGA TFT matrix with a resolution of 1048 x 768 pixels. It has a somewhat limited viewing angle close to the screen.
