Suprisingly affordable lightweight and small laptops from Packard Bell.
This is the first time under the banner of Acer that Packard Bell has launched two net book models in the UK. When innovation in the fields of software and hardware are getting limited, the only way Packard Bell could have gathered the fair attention it did was by presenting itself in satin metallic red with a red lid which is all gloss. Even though certain wireless options are lacking, at the competitive price it is available and given its small size, it is an ideal buy for people who are looking for utility net books.
The coating in place for this particular model is pretty glossy with improved color and contrast, turning the panel into a reflective one. Hard black plastic is used to construct the chassis, the palmrest having a mottled design, and ideally suitable for those people who prefer to work on the move. It does not really bring about a revolution in the net book market, but even then it is worth a buy from many points of view, provided the touchpad issues are resolved.
