Dell XPS 13 laptop Dell Studio XPS 13 laptop from the Dell family has stylish look and excellent build. The lightweight laptop is available in three different configurations with varying processor speed, main memory, hard disk capacity and battery size and 3 colours viz. Obsidian Black, Arctic White or Merlot Red finish.
The lower end configuration is reviewed here which is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6600 (2.2GHz, 800MHz, 2MB) and has 2048MB 1067MHz Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM with 160GB (7,200rpm) Free Fall Sensor hard disk. The small laptop has backlit ergonomic keyboard and touch pads. The 13.3″ WXGA (1280×800 pixel resolution) CCFL screen with TrueLife displays brilliant colours.

Other features of this lightweight laptop include Wireless N Mini-Card, Bluetooth Internal (2.0) mini-card, and Integrated network connector 10/100/1000 LAN (RJ45) for external connection, Internal DVD+/-RW (DVD & CD) Slot Load Drive, 2 USB 2.0 ports, VGA connector, 54mm Express Card slot, and HDMI port. It also has 4 Watts integrated stereo speakers with clear sound reproduction, Audio jacks (2 line-out, 1 Mic-in), and 1.3MP Integrated Webcam. To conclude, Dell XPS Studio 13 laptop has all the features for day to day use but the cost seems to be slightly on the higher side.
