With falling PC and laptop prices, some of the mobile phone service providers like T-mobile, Vodafone and Three are luring new customers by offering laptops with broadband connection ‘free’ (no payment upfront) or with heavy discounts. The free laptops ‘catch’ in these offers is that the buyer has to maintain the broadband account for a minimum period.

The cost of the laptop is recovered through subscription to the broadband connection. With increasing user mobility, laptops are being used not only for traditional computing but also as a communicating device to keep in touch with the rest of the world. Hence these ‘combo’ offers makes lot of sense to the youth and older generations alike.

We will be shortly launching a free laptops comparison service where you will be able to find the most suitable laptop on a “free” contract, so check back soon.
