The G61 laptop from the HP family has all the usual features of a HP laptop and yet is priced competitively. The laptop features 15.6″ diagonal High-Definition HP BrightView widescreen display with a pixel resolution of 1366 x 768. It is powered by Intel Celeron Processor T3100 1.9 GHz 800 MHz FSB with 1 MB L2 Cache. The main memory has 3GB capacity while the hard disk, 320 GB which are ample for most day to day use.
The graphics is powered by Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M which is good enough for fast gaming. Weighing 5.9 lbs, the cheap laptop has outer dimensions of 14.9 x 9.9 x 1.6 inches. For backup, the laptop has LightScribe SuperMulti DVD±RW Double Layer optical drive. Wi-fi, Ethernet LAN and 3 USB 2.0 ports take care of external connectivity.
